SIPDECT CREATE PROFILE
SIPDECT SYNC <ACTION>
Provides maintenance commands to sync and configure SIP-DECT device records from a MiVoice Business system to a SIP-DECT Manager that has been added as a network element.
NOTE: Running SIPDECT commands on one MiVoice Business server of a cluster updates only the SIP-DECT devices hosted locally on that server.
The SIPDECT SYNC <ACTION> command keeps the SIP DECT Manager up to date by performing a database sync between the MiVoice Business system and the SIP-DECT Manager.
The ACTION parameter can be any one of the following values:
ADD - SIP-DECT device records that are present in MiVoice Business, but not in the SIP-DECT Manager are added to the SIP DECT Manager.
REMOVE - SIP-DECT device records that are present in the SIP-DECT Manager, but not in MiVoice Business are removed from the SIP-DECT Manager.
ALL -- SIP-DECT device records in the SIP-DECT Manager that have a different Name value from the same device record in MiVoice Business are updated with values from the MiVoice Business system.
The SIPDECT CHECK <ACTION> command provides a report of the sync actions required between the MiVoice Business system and the SIP-DECT Manager to keep the SIP-DECT Manager up to date. This command does not perform any sync action.
The ACTION parameter can be any one of the following values:
ADD - Provides a list of sync actions for the ADD operation.
REMOVE - Provides a list of sync actions for the REMOVE operation.
ALL - Provides a list of sync actions for the ALL operation.
The SIPDECT CREATE PROFILE command employs the use of Configuration over Air profiles to configure settings on SIP-DECT devices through the SIP-DECT Manager. The profile consists of device settings taken from the current MiVoice Business Feature Access Codes (FAC) form, and is built using the programmed system language. Once created in MiVoice Business using the SIPDECT CREATE PROFILE command, the profile is pushed onto the SIP-DECT Manager and stored here as the default profile with the name, MiVB Call Services.
NOTE: If the system language and Feature Access Codes are changed at any point, then the MiVB Call Services profile on the SIP-DECT Manager will not be updated automatically; the SIPDECT CREATE PROFILE maintenance command must be run again from MiVoice Business to update the profile.
